Our Philosophy

Precious People Daycare educational child care philosophy: Small steps into our big future.

The belief that secure relationships with responsive and respectful adults provide the basis for all learning. With these relationships in place, children develop a capacity for trust, competence, and independence that help them grow as students and people.

Healthy Meals and Snacks:

PPDC offers a minimum of breakfast, lunch, dinner and three snacks each day. Our four-week, rotating menus are reviewed by a registered dietitian and meet USDA guidelines. Our menus are available to parents on this website and we post alerts with pictures of children who have dietary restrictions in the classroom and in the kitchen to ensure that appropriate substitutions are made.

Hours of Operation:

We have recently changed our hours of operation. We are now open 5AM-7PM, Monday through Friday.

I love to play with my children and read them story books and spend family time outdoors with them. I love working for Building Blocks because I love children. The daycare is so close to my house I can spend more time with the kids and not have to worry about the drive to and from work. I have fun with the 1-year-olds playing blocks and playing with the animals and people.
